The unit is designed to monitor the main incoming power supply as well as the outgoing supply to multiple applications. A practical example would be to install this unit in your household DB board to monitor the main income supply from Eskom and then the outgoing supply to your washing machine, stove, microwave and geyser.
Other examples include but are not limited to the following, a dairy you could monitor incoming power that is distributed to an office, cooler room, borehole and a milk tank.
The system will automatically send a SMS to the programmed operators when a power failure has occurred in one or all of your applications as well as send you an SMS once the power supply has been restored by Eskom. The system is installed with a backup battery in the event of a power failure and will therefore continue working after the power failure has occurred. A low battery warming will be sent to the programmed operators during prolonged power failures however the battery will be charged once power has been restored. The unit can monitor up to five outgoing applications and can switch off two of these applications via a SMS.
